GALKACYO — Three civilian people have been killed and 7 others wounded by gunmen near Galkacyo town in central Somalia.
The incident happened after gunmen opened fire on civilian bus travelling near Balibusle and Godad areas, killing 3 people.
Children were among those killed in the shooting, according to residents.
The killers eecaped from the scene.
The motive behind for the civilian killing remains unknown.
Bodies of the civilians and injuries were reportedly taken into hospitals in north of the town.
The local authorities in the town did not comment on the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility for the shooting.
