MOGADISHU –– Unarmed civilian man has been intentionally shot and killed by a government soldier in Somali capital Mogadishu.
In phone interview with AGGM, a witness said that the man had been killed by a local government soldier armed with AK-47 over a dispute, adding that the trooper escaped.
The incident happened at Ged-Jacel in the city’s Wardhigley district.
There was no immediate response from security officials in the area.
Dozens of soldiers reportedly arrived at the scene and launched an investigation.
No arrests have been made over the killing.
