MOGADISHU – At least seven people have been killed and six others injured in car bomb explosion in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
Thursday’s explosion detonated near London Gate restaurant in the city’s Hamar-weyne district, when car laden with explosives went off, police officer, Hussein Mohamed said.
“We have taken victims into hospital. I don’t know the main target of the explosion”, he said.
Mohamed says death toll could like rise as some of the injuries were seriously.
No group has claimed the responsibility for the explosion in the capital, but such attacks are often carried out by Al Shabaab.
