MOGADISHU – Two civilian people have been killed on Tuesday in road accident in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, witness said.
Tuesday’s mishap happened in the city’s biggest Bakara market when a truck veered off the road and went upside down on the victims after the driver lost the control of the vehicle, a witness said.
Two people were killed in the incident, he said.
Dozens of people started running away when the truck was overturning, according to tea-seller, Aisha Mohamed, who spoke to AGGM.
Driver fatigue, negligence, poor-quality roads and vehicle maintenance are the usual causes of such accidents in Somalia
