MOGADISHU –Somalia’s President Mohamed Abudullahi Mohamed, known as Farmajo has flown to Sudan’s capital Khartoum.
The president Farmajo on Wednesday began his two day state visit to Khartoum after receiving an official invitation from his Sudanese counterpart, Omar Hassan Al-Bashir
Somali Foreign Minister, Yusuf Garad and other senior government officials were among high-level delegation led by country’s leader Mohamed Farmajo.
Farmaajo’s visit to Sudan is reportedly aimed at strengthening the two countries cooperation and bilateral relations and trade ties, according Sate officials.
This becomes his first trip to Sudan as president Mohamed Abudllahi Mohamed made several trips to neighboring countries including Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Uganda.
