BALADWEYNE – Seven people have been killed on Wednesday in car bomb explosion near Baladweyne town, some 335km north of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.
The explosion went off in Durdur area, about 40km south of the town after being exploded a car laden with explosives in which Al Shabab militants were travelling in.
It is unclear where these militants were going to attack.
There was no immediate word from Al Shabaab over the explosion killed number of its fighters.
Somali officials in the town did not comment on the incident.
