The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group has claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing in Bosaso town.
Tuesday’s explosion carried out by suicide bomber near police station in the town, leaving four people, including a soldier dead.
Six others were also injured in the suicide explosion.
The ISIL group’s fighters are holding some areas in Somalia’s region of Puntland.
“We will hunt them down until they are no longer a threat to the Puntland people and the region,” Mohamed Osman, a security official said.
The group also claimed recent bomb attacks in Bosaso town, killing tens of people, including soldiers.
