A roadside bomb explosion has targeted an armored personnel carrier belonging to African Union mission in Somalia (AMISOM) near Bulomarer town in south of Somalia.
Friday’s explosion hit AMISOM convoy carrying supplies to other African Union peacekeeping troops in Qoryoley town, a witness said.
It is too early to say the exact figure of casualty on troops.
The African Union troops reportedly cordoned off the scene of the explosion and launched an operation.
No group says it carried out the bomb attack on the AMISOM vehicles.
But, such attacks are often carried out by Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab militants based in Somalia.
