The Foreign Ministry has condemned the terrorist attack that targeted members of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) in northwestern Mogdishu, leaving 10 soldiers dead and 16 others injured.
In a statement released Wednesday, the foreign ministry asserted Egypt’s solidarity with the Somali government and people to confront and uproot terrorism.
The foreign ministry also extended its deepest condolences to the victims’ families.
The statement stressed that such heinous operations will not weaken the Somali people’s determination to rebuild state institutions and achieve security and stability.
