Somalia has warned that it would take an unspecified action against Dubai port giant DP World for violating Somalia’s sovereignty by continuing its activities in the breakawar region of Somaliland and the semi-autonomous region of Puntland.
Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed Isse Awad said in an interview with the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV that his government’s patience with DP World has run out and that it would now defend the country’s rights and its sovereignty.
