MOGADIDHU – The President of Somalia Mohamed Abdulahi Mohamed has signed new law of National Disability approved by the country’s Upper House.
The new bill will serve for people with disabilities, according Minister of Women and Human Rights Development, Deqa Yasin Haji.
The President Mohamed hailed the approval the new legislation , noting that other 29 bills would be needed to be passed.
” I am thanking Federal Parliament of Somalia that did this task within six months, I urge them to approve other legal documents as soon as possible”, Mr. Farmajo said.
Minister of Women and Human Rights Development, Deqa Yasin Haji, State Minister of the Presidency, Abdukadir Sh. Ali, Commissioners from both Houses of Parliament and members disabilities organization in Somalia attended the signing occasion at the State house.
