MOGADISHU, Somalia – At least one policeman was killed and 3 others injured after a roadside explosion targeted a police vehicle in the vicinity of Banadir junction of the capital, Mogadishu.
The explosion targeted vehicle belonged to a senior police officer Gen Ali Gaab.
Speaking to media, Gen Ali Gaab says he was not onboard at the time of the explosion.
He confirmed that a police soldier was killed and three others wounded.
Somali armed group al Shabaab says it has carried out a bomb attack on police vehicle in Mogadishu.
